There are stages of experience with God: first is being saved, which means that your name is written in the Book of Life. It is like checking in to a hotel and writing your name in the heavenly registrar. Second is the born again experience, which is a change of life on the ground. Only then one can *see the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
So, salvation is in heaven and the born experience on earth.
Third, it is to be born of water and Spirit (John 3:5), which is dual, one is the physical water of baptism through a complete immersion in running water; and the spiritual is the washing with the God’s word being preached and taught only by the anointed vessel of God for. Only then the Holy Spirit comes. (Ephesians 6:26) The Holy Spirit always comes because of the anointing. (1 Samuel 16:13 & Isaiah 61:1)
Religious philosophy can’t wash anyone with the truth. Any man’s own thoughts about God or even those acquired from some Theological Academy or Bible School can’t make a dent in our lives, it’s just religion.
The washing with water and Spirit causes us to actually enter God’s kingdom as opposed to Jesus’ previous statement “*see the Kingdom of God.”
Fourth, is the final birth, which refers to the Holy Spirit being as our spiritual mother. Once she gives birth we become sinless and like wind, (John 3:8) no more belonging to any organization, but as individuals ruled by the laws of the heavenly kingdom. We have out-grown the womb, so to speak, and then must be born by entering a completely new reality.
This also refers to the entry, which is the new birth, sin confession (1 John 1:9) the entry, and then the end of our journey, which is the birth of the Spirit (1 John 5:18), which results in sinlessness.
All that is in between those two entries is the washing and preparation.
From the natural world we enter God’s spiritual world. We reside therein like in a mother’s womb until we mature and then proceed to the birthing canal. And when we are born we are no longer on the physical side, but wholly on the spiritual. Like Enoch who walked with God and was no more for God took him. We are interchangeable like Jesus was. One moment He appears; Thomas touches His physical body; He eats bread and fish and then vanishes again.
